Dave Wolnek Appointed CEO of ASP, Camp Renegade and Alphabetland

DEERFIELD BEACH, FLA – After School Programs, Camp Renegade and Alphabetland have announced that Dave Wolnek has been appointed CEO of the three companies. Over the past six years, Wolnek has served as a vice president of the companies.

Wolnek, 50, assumed leadership of the companies in December, immediately following the unanticipated passing of Alan Wolnek, the founder of ASP. Prior to joining ASP, Dave Wolnek spent 25 years in the automotive industry working in operations and management where he honed his skills and philosophies in team building and customer service.

“Every experience in my career has prepared me for this position. My priority for the future of this company will be to move forward with our founder’s vision – to provide programs that serve the best interests of children, parents and educators – while increasing our focus on enhanced customer satisfaction,” said Wolnek. “ASP will engage parents, principals, schools and administrators with the highest level of commitment in order to provide the most valuable service to our students.”

“As a former Area Superintendent in Broward County and now a member of ASP, I can say with confidence that Dave Wolnek will be a great leader for our organization,” said Dr. Verda Farrow, executive director of ASP. “Dave’s vision for emphasizing our relationship with school administrators and parents is the right formula for long-term success.”

Alan Wolnek established ASP in 1991 as a not for profit corporation and has built the organization into one of the largest after care providers in the state. ASP employs over 1200 people and serves thousands of Florida families in over 70 schools.
