After School Programs, Inc is South Florida’s leading provider of safe, affordable, quality after school and summer childcare programs for school-age children. ASP operates educational and recreational after school programs on-site at elementary schools throughout South Florida, proudly serving thousands of children and families from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
Established in 1991 as a not-for-profit corporation, ASP is the first and only after school provider to receive accreditation status from both the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA), the same organizations that accredit elementary, middle, and high schools throughout the country.
We create an active partnership between the parents, children, school administration, program staff and the community, based on each school’s individual needs. Scholarships and grant funding are available to ensure that as many children as possible receive the academic and social benefits of a top-notch after school program. ASP receives millions of dollars in grant funding to operate after school programs and summer camps for children in low-income families. We are proud to serve these children, and to consistently meet or exceed all of the grants’ mandated outcomes for academic, physical, and social skill improvement.
